We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join us as a Business Controller (f/m/d) in our Strategic Finance & Controlling department, supporting our growing team located in Luxembourg-Kirchberg. In this role, you will take an active part in dealing with various internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the budgeting and forecasting processes, helping to provide insights for business planning.
- Data Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support Business Partnering: Collaborate with various departments to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives.
- Process Improvement: Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Accounting Support: Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, review general ledger accounts, and assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting. Assist in the efficient and accurate collection of revenue and liquidity management.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures , but also to local regulations.
Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Some experience in finance or accounting roles, internships included.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI and ideally PowerApps.
- Experience with SAP software (not required but beneficial).
- Excellent communication skills in English, additional languages are an advantage
