The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) Office is responsible for information security and IT risk management for the Asset Managers division of the Swiss Life Group (“SL AM”). The CISO Office has the following key domains of responsibility:  
• Design and lead the implementation of the strategy to ensure a consistent level of information security and IT resilience across all SL AM entities.   
• Promote security awareness within the firm.  
• Monitor compliance with IT risk and information security related policies and regulations.  
• Advise and support the business and IT with their technology risk management responsibilities.   

The CISO Office Program Manager is a member of the CISO Office organization (second line of defense) reporting into the CISO. The CISO Office Program Manager's key responsibilities include managing and coordinating security-related projects and programs within the CISO Office and supporting the CISO with business management activities.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of security programs and projects driven by the CISO Office and where the CISO Office plays a key role. Ensure all projects deliverables comply with relevant CISO Office policies, standards and applicable regulations.
  • Manage the portfolio of security projects, prioritizing initiatives based on risk, dependencies on other projects or departments, impact, and resource availability.
  • Ensure adequate planning with other departments involved to ensure they are aware of upcoming projects led by the CISO Office. Identify also IT and business projects requiring involvement of the CISO Office.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for all projects and prepare regular reports for the CISO, project sponsors and steering committee.
  • Conduct ongoing risk assessments for various projects and develop strategies to mitigate identified risks.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of security projects, using metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate the preparation of regular management meetings and track follow up actions to completion
  • Coordinate office administration activities such as coordinating team meetings, staff and contractor management onboarding / offboarding and managing productivity tools
  • Coordinate the preparation of budget requests, forecast and regular track expenditures

Experience

  • A bachelor's degree in information technology or cybersecurity is required. A master's degree is an advantage.
  • At least 7 years of experience in managing and leading security programs and projects.
  • Strong skills in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with various stakeholders at both technical and managerial levels.
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve project goals.
  • Fluent in English. Knowledge of German is an advantage.


Certifications
  • ISC2 CISSP, ISACA CISM, CISA or similar
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent
