As a Cloud Data Platform Engineer (f/m/d), you will play an important role in designing, implementing and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and solutions, primarily using Python, Microsoft Azure and Databricks services. You work closely with cross-functional teams to develop scalable and efficient cloud solutions that support our data-driven approach to managing real estate portfolios.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and continue developing our cloud Data Lakehouse solution and infrastructure.
  • Expand and maintain the data artefacts to accommodate the expansion of the Data Lakehouse.
  • You actively contribute to a positive, inclusive, and cooperative team culture that values diversity and continuous learning.

Experience

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical team members and stakeholders.
  • You enjoy working with business analysts and business subject matter experts, review business specifications and define the technical solutions.
  • Extensive knowledge of Python and experience in developing and maintaining cloud-native solutions.
  • You are committed to continuously improve the data artefacts (Data dictionary, data models, interface descriptions) and ensure maintaining high quality data assets.
  • Self-driven, you consistently stay ahead of the curve by closely following the latest technology trends and best practice in data engineering and cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Azure and a proven understanding of key services, features, and best practices.
  • Experience in applying Dev/Sec Ops and Agile Best Practices using Infrastructure-as-code (terraform)
  • Optionally, you have relevant Databricks or Azure certifications, such as Databricks certified Data Engineer Associate, Databricks certified Data Engineer Professional, Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Developer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
