In your function as Head of Compliance of a super management company (AIFM & UCITS management company managing a wide range of products), you will lead a motivated and flexible team and ensure the identification, assessment, monitoring, reporting, advising on and mitigating of Compliance specific risks affecting Swiss Life Asset Managers Luxembourg (“SLAM LUX”) and its funds. ) You are the main contact for the CSSF regarding Compliance matters and take the role as RC for SLAM LUX and some of its funds. The Compliance team acts as an independent second level control function. In more detail, the activities as part of the SLAM LUX Compliance team include but are not limited to:
Responsibilities
- Managing Compliance related risks such as analysis of new initiatives of SLAM LUX (Company and Product level ), AML/CTF assessments on investments, investors, business relationships or other stakeholders, Conflict-of-Interest, data protection and complaints management
- Maintenance and coordination of the SLAM LUX PolicyFramework and internal control system including annual assessment and coordination within the group/division and enhancing the Internal Control System
- Knowledge and awareness spreading by coordinating regulatory required and Swiss Life specific trainings and customization of training material to local needs and execution of trainings to SLAM LUX employees and Board members of SLAM LUX and the funds
- Monitoring legal and regulatory developments as integral part of the internal regulatory update group and implementation of regulatory or internal group requirements
- Trusted Advisor to Management in compliance related matters and risks leveraging on active participation to various local and global committees, working groups and projects as well as reporting to internal and external stakeholders (e.g. Management Committee, Board of Directors, Swiss Life division and group, regulator and audit)
Experience
- Proven professional Compliance experience in the investment funds industry (8 or more years) and having acted as RC
- Previous (team) leadership experience
- Strong Compliance, AML/CTF & regulatory expertise in AIFMD and UCITS
- Entrepreneurial mind-set to set-up, implement required processes and further improve them to add value including usage of new technology
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and German. French would be an asset.
- Strong team player in an international context, dynamic and resilient with the ability to work independently
- Good knowledge of MS Office
