As Head of Client/Investor Services, you will have overall responsibility for the evolution and management of the client/investor service function within the COO organization. You will design, develop and lead a divisional unit that acts as a central interface between clients, sales, products, operations, legal, compliance, risk, finance and technology. You will drive the development and delivery of a harmonized, scalable, and client centric service model, making a significant contribution to growth, profitability, and service excellence.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all client-related operations along the client/investor lifecycle, including onboarding, reporting, and query management, with a focus on harmonization, efficiency, and excellence in the client experience.
- Development and implementation of a harmonized client service operating model across Europe, ensuring efficient, standardized, and scalable processes to support AuM growth.
- Developing and leading an international team including roles and responsibilities definition, location structure, governance, KPIs.
- As an interface function, close cooperation with sales, product teams, fund and asset services, legal and compliance, IT and corporate functions.
- Introduction and management of relevant KPIs and SLAs (e.g. service quality, processing times, customer feedback).
- Leading the delivery of strategic projects and overseeing the project portfolio of the client services function.
Experience
- 10+ years of management experience in the field of client service / investor services in asset management or financial services industry.
- Demonstrable successes in the establishment and transformation of service organizations and adoption of scalable operating models.
- Proven track record of complex stakeholder environments management.
- Experience of cross-location people management and strong leadership skills.
- Sound understanding of:
• Regulatory environment and requirements (especially KYC/AML) in Switzerland, EU and UK
• Data and reporting structures and capabilities
• Multi-asset product knowledge (securities, real estate and infrastructure equity)
- Pronounced strength in:
• Stakeholder management at management level
• Leading and developing high-performing teams
- Fluency in English and German.
