SLAM expands its Infrastructure Debt team to accompany this development. Swiss Life Asset Managers looks for an Infrastructure Debt Manager to develop, execute and manage mainly High Yield but also Senior Debt investments.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement Infrastructure Debt Funds strategies in Senior and High Yield debt.
Structure and execute transactions, ensuring alignment with investment strategies across funds and mandates.
Build and manage a diversified portfolio of infrastructure debt investments with main focus on high-yield opportunities.
Manage portfolio assets and monitor performances of infrastructure investment grade and high yield infra debt investments.

Perform due diligences and elaborate detailed credit assessments of infrastructure projects and issuers.
Conduct financial modelling, scenario analysis, and stress testing.

Ability to actively manage and expand relevant networks.
Source and negotiate investment opportunities in infrastructure debt markets globally.
Structure transactions to optimize risk-adjusted returns.

Monitor portfolio risk exposures and ensure compliance with investment guidelines.
Implement robust risk mitigation strategies.

Communicate portfolio performance and strategy to internal committees and external investors and other stakeholders.
Prepare high-quality reports and presentations for clients and senior management.
Contribute actively to enhance the investors experience: participate to the development, implementation and creation of improving to the highest standards the LPs access to the asset insights. Review and identify in each asset management process, key information elements and reporting to be provided to the investors to enhance investors experience.

Support Distribution Department in customizing investors approach:
• Include investors concerns goals influence investment choices, governance and disclosures
• Participate and help preparing advisory groups reportings/meetings
• For joint investments: coordinate with Head of Distribution & Innovation to ensure allocation documentation for side vehicles and follow-up reporting.

Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory developments, and macroeconomic factors impacting infrastructure debt.
Develop and maintain a strong network within the infrastructure debt, equity, advisory, bank & investors markets.

Develop and maintain a strong network within the infrastructure debt, equity, advisory, bank & investors markets.

Experience

  • Experience of 5-7 years in Infrastructure Private debt, Senior/Junior, HY and IG, and/or Private equity
  • Education in Engineering, business school and/or economic studies
  • Combination of Project Finance, advisory, ideally with a top investor, bank or investment firm
  • Proven track record in originating, arranging infrastructure debt and/or equity management across Europe, Middle-East and Asia
  • Strong knowledge in acquisition, leverage and project finance. Experience in work-out.
  • Good knowledge and experience in the use of MS Office applications, in particular PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Fluency in English and German, French is a plus
