The infrastructure investment team of Swiss Life Asset Managers is investment adviser to eight infrastructure funds, with total infrastructure assets under management of more than EUR 10bn (and growing). Since its inception in 2013, the team has successfully executed over 75 infrastructure investments. The mandate is focused on private equity investments in infrastructure assets in Europe and North America in the upper mid-cap to lower large-cap market segments.
The infrastructure investment team is a young and growing unit with professionals from a variety of backgrounds, including private equity, M&A, strategy consulting and engineering. The entire dedicated infrastructure private equity team of Swiss Life Asset Managers consists of more than 65 investment professionals and is based in the heart of the Swiss financial capital, Zurich.
For the next cycle, we are looking for an Intern (f/m/d) available starting October 2026 to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities
- Support the investments team in the analysis, valuation & due diligence of renewable energy and infrastructure private equity (non-listed) investment opportunities in Europe and North America
- Support investment managers in writing investment memos and presentations, and attendance of executive investment committee meetings
- Provide desktop research into the renewable energy and infrastructure market, relevant sub-sectors and related areas
- Support investment managers in managing the portfolio of companies, including tracking of financial performance, valuation and strategic goals
Experience
- Recent graduate or currently pursuing university studies in finance, economics, business administration (preferably Master's degree) or have relevant experience in finance, and/or the renewable energy sector
- Strong knowledge of finance and corporate finance
- Strong interest in renewable energy and infrastructure, or in private equity investments
- Financial modelling experience and skills an advantage
- Ability to absorb and synthesise large quantities of information
- Good Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Fluent English is required, fluency in German or a Nordic language is an asset (but not required)
