Swiss Life Asset Managers is a leading institutional asset manager with over EUR 290bn in AuM. Our Infrastructure Private Equity team manages EUR 12bn, focusing on direct investments in Core & Core+, Value-Add, and Renewable & Clean Energy infrastructure assets across OECD countries, particularly in Europe and North America.

Since 2011, we have completed 75 direct infrastructure investments and are expanding our mandate to include control and co-control positions up to CHF 500m. Our Zurich-based team of 65+ professionals, including 30 investment managers is truly international representing 16 languages and diverse backgrounds.

We are now seeking a Junior Investment Manager (f/m) to join our growing Core & Core+ infrastructure team.

Responsibilities

  • Active involvement in all aspects of the investment lifecycle
  • Supporting the origination and execution of direct infrastructure investments
  • Responsibility on specific due diligence workstreams across financial, commercial, and operational areas
  • Developing financial models and conducting company valuations
  • Preparing investment memoranda for internal committees
  • Assisting in the management and monitoring of portfolio companies
  • Conducting proactive independent research on sectors, trends, and investment opportunities

Experience

  • A strong academic background from a top-tier university or business school
  • 2–3 years of full-time experience in M&A, project finance, infrastructure private equity, or a leading consultancy
  • A genuine interest in infrastructure investing and long-term value creation
  • Excellent analytical skills, financial modelling capabilities, and a solid grasp of corporate finance
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive, can-do attitude in a fast-paced environment
  • An intellectually curious and highly motivated personality
  • Fluency in English is required; plus another European language
