In your function as Operational and IT Risk Manager of a super management company you will work as part of a flexible Qualitative Risk Management team. You will contribute by assessing, monitoring, and reporting on relevant risks pertaining to Swiss Life Asset Managers in Luxembourg as an enterprise as well as the funds under the governance and further developing the risk culture within the organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Management and enhancement of the Operational Risks Management framework as well supporting the respective business functions in identifying, monitoring, and mitigating operational and business risks as well as defining & implementing adequate mitigation measures (including delegated activities)
  • Management, coordination and further development of the IT and Information Security Risk Management framework and close cooperation with IT and business functions units to identify and assess ICT risks
  • Maintenance and further development of the Internal Control System (incl. IT and Security Controls) along Swiss Life Asset Managers' value chain
  • Administration and coordination of the Swiss Life Asset Managers' process- and control framework and support of business functions in process-management and policy-maintenance
  • Supporting the annual assessment cycle, specifically the performance, validation and documentation of risk and control assessments with the process and control owner
  • Support and advise Management in risk and process related matters and ongoing reporting to internal and external stakeholders (e.g. Management Committee, Board of Directors, Swiss Life Division and Group)
  • Promoting a sound risk culture including coordination of staff-trainings and maintenance of awareness-programs

Experience

  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in process management, operational risk management, IT risk management or audit and experience in the investment funds or banking industry
  • Entrepreneurial mind-set and experience to set-up, implement required processes and further improve them (knowledge in process modelling standards is a bonus)
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills and ability to challenge new ideas from a business process and risk perspective
  • Strong team player, dynamic and resilient with the ability to work independently
  • A good understanding of relevant Luxembourgian regulations (e.g. CSSF Circulars 18/698, DORA) is considered an asset
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and German or French
