Responsibilities

  • Act as Application Manager for systems including Cognos, Abacus, MSCI Real Assets, and Wüest Partner Dimensions
  • Manage release and change processes in collaboration with external vendors and developers
  • Gather and define business requirements for application enhancements
  • Lead small projects and coordinate application-related initiatives
  • Oversee 1st & 2nd level support, ensuring SLA-compliant ticket resolution
  • Ensure IT security, compliance, and risk management requirements are met
  • Monitor application performance, maintain documentation, and drive continuous improvements

Experience

  • 5+ years as an Application Manager in enterprise or multi-application environments
  • Experience managing SaaS solutions and coordinating external vendors
  • Background working with Azure or cloud-based application environments
  • Strong knowledge of application lifecycle management, release processes, and ITIL practices
  • Ability to handle support structures and structured ticket management
  • Business analysis skills: requirement gathering, process structuring, and workflow understanding
  • Strong communication, problem-solving mindset, and ability to work with diverse stakeholders
