  • Provide input on financing terms and conditions, ensuring they support the portfolio's long-term operational and financial objectives.
  • Liaise with other shareholders in co-investments, ensuring financing strategies align across different ownership structures.
  • Ensure financing structures account for operational implications, such as future refinancing risks, covenant structures, and potential restructuring scenarios.
  • Advise on debt restructuring situations if required, while keeping refinancing risks in check.
  • Evaluate financial documentation and oversee the negotiation of key debt terms, although final negotiations will be led by the investment teams.
  • Work closely with asset managers to ensure financing considerations are integrated into asset management strategies.
  • Take on two asset management files, supporting assets where debt financing is a critical component.
  • Support the development of internal financing frameworks to create consistency in debt structuring and lender engagement across the portfolio.
  • Assist in defining the long-term approach to financing within Swiss Life's asset management function, ensuring clarity on how financing expertise is leveraged internally.

Experience

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
  • At least 15 years in project finance, structured finance, or debt capital markets, ideally within infrastructure.
